A potent bred stallion bred by leading AQHA Breeder Carol Rose of Gainesville, TX. Genuine Doc O Lena’s pedigree is one of the most versatile performance pedigrees in the industry. His Sire is a Reserve World Champion Cutting Horse, his dam is a World Champion Calf Roping Horse, Granddam is NRHA Futurity Champion, as well as a World Champion in Heading and Reining, and great Granddam is a AQHA Superhorse. Truly a Champion bloodline.

Genuine Doc O Lena is proving to be a very talented athlete in his own rights. Having amassed nearly 400 AQHA points, he has earned his Superior Heeling and Superior in Calf Roping. He finished 2002 as High Point Open Calf Roping 10th, High Point Senior Calf Roping 7th, High Point Senior Heeling 10th. In 2003 GDO finished 8th in High Point Senior Heeling with a very limited show season. He was the Circuit Champion Senior Calf Roping at the prestigious 2002 SUN COUNTRY CIRCUIT, 2003 Wichita Circuit Champion Heeling, Class Winner at the 2002 Texas Classic, and 2002 AQHA World Championship Show qualifier in Heeling and Calf Roping. At the 2002 Nebraska State Fair, he won both the Open Heeling and Open Calf Roping events. At the 2004 AQHA World Show, he was a finalist in both Sr. Heeling and Sr. Calf Roping, ending up 5th overall in Sr. Heeling. He is again qualified for the 2005 AQHA World Show in both events. We are very proud of the fact that this horse can post such impressive statistics and still earn his living pasture breeding mares during half of the show season!

 We are very pleased with the results that are coming in. There are several other Genuine Doc O Lena offspring in training now that will be shown for the 2006 show season. It will be a very exciting AQHA World Show this year watching GDO show along with his offspring. We feel these foals will be impact makers in the years to come.

Genuine Doc O Lena is proving himself to be an outstanding sire in his own right. EVERY foal of his that is tried is successful in the show pen. They are very trainable, huge stoppers with big hearts. To date his offspring have the following records.

Docs Genuine Jack- 140 AQHA Open Heeling and Heading Points. 2004 AQHA World Show Qualifier in Heeling and Heading. Circuit Champion in both open heading and open heeling at the IQHA District Six show (second show out). 2005 AQHA World Show Qualifier in Jr. Heeling, Heading and Calf Roping. Superior Heeling and Heading. Plans to make a run at AQHA Super Horse Title in 2006.
